K. Rollins' Travel Blog
Travel conversations feel different these days, and understandably so. People are more aware, more cautious, and more tuned in to what’s happening around the world. Even with that, I’m encouraged to see that most travelers are still moving forward with their plans — adjusting where needed, staying informed, and avoiding the obvious hotspots.
What I’m hearing consistently from clients is this: once they return, they’re glad they went. No one has come home wishing they’d canceled or feeling hesitant about future travel. With thoughtful planning, travel remains safe, rewarding, and absolutely doable.
And remember, there’s an entire world right here within the 50 states — from national parks to coastal towns to vibrant cities — offering incredible experiences without the complexity of international travel.
If you’re considering a trip, let me know what you’re thinking. I’ll help you put together something that fits your comfort level, timing, and circumstances.
Purchase your insurance the moment you book your trip; that way, unforeseen circumstances occurring before or during your trip may be eligible for coverage. Many insurers will only insure your trip within a certain window after your deposit is made.
As I continue to grow and evolve, this business of mine. I'm humbled by the amount of work that goes into it. I'm also excited by the unspoken gifts of owning my agency. As a person who started this late in life, I feel like I'm back in college, lol. Always studying, learning, and expanding my horizons to better serve my clients. Even this website, lol. It is certainly a learning experience. No time for TV, lol. Too much to read and webinars to attend. So yes, I'm amazed every day by this adventure and look forward to helping you with yours. Let's continue to grow together. Experiences and amazing relationships are what it's all about.
Thank you!!
As I watch the news about Pope Francis's passing, I'm moved by his message to "the people" and "leaders" of the world. Showing true humility and understanding. Although I am not Catholic, I respect this individual who brought people to hear his message of "non-judgment". I can only pray that the upcoming conclave brings forth an individual with similar beliefs and continues the role of being a Pope for all.
Have I mentioned how much I love helping people with their travel plans? In the past three days, I've been thrilled by the requests for help. New clients as well as past. A cruise on the Mississippi, A trip to New Zealand, as well as a family trip to England, etc. As most people know, I'm fairly new to this, and there was a time when I was struggling with changes in my life, however, those struggles have only strengthened my resolve, and I'm fully up and running with your help. Thanks to all who have stayed with me. As I plan these trips, some of which are new territories for me, it opens opportunities to learn of Vendors I hadn't worked with before, and I'm overwhelmed in the best way.
A new blog topic is being born of this. Questions I'm asked by clients, no matter how basic or simple, I'm going to post along with the answers. I'm doing this in order for you to have a continued resource to answer your questions. There truly are no wrong questions. Many have not travelled before, so why not use their questions to also help you. Those will be included in the Travel Tips section of this site.
